PWWC premieres Venturing in Vietnam

PWWC gather together at Pepperdine University at the Organization Behavior course, taught by Professor Green, to introduce to her class what it takes to set foot into Vietnam’s Business Culture.

Culture cuisine was brought in by the PWWC team. They had demonstrated what basic information foreigners would need to know on organization behaviors in an emerging country.

After a successful seminar, PWWC challenged themselves individually as as a team.

If you had attended PWWC seminar on Vietnam’s frontier, please comment below for advice and suggestions we could work on for the future!

PWWC is not just about business. We value charity work and giving back to the community.

Each member of PWWC venture off with other members of our partners groups (WeLA Boys, Pepperdine Elite and Coolcumbers). Together, we collectively have served children with special needs, and providing food for those individuals in need.

Keep up the excellent work PWWC! If you have a non profit that we should look into, go right ahead and comment below!

Introducing PWWC’s New Logo

PWWC.JPG

PWWC would like to unveil our new company’s logo. We didn’t think we would have such a successful trimester as a group. We are constantly learning new organization behavior concepts and applying those concepts to our everyday life professional and personally.

Just because a team originated and created in a hotel lobby in San Pedro, doesn’t mean it will fail. We have succeeded as a unit and constantly supporting each other during this MBA process and many more trimesters to come.

Team Insight Wheel

This diagram shows Amir, Joe, James and Lindy‘s placement on the Insight Wheel.

Developing this visual helps the team understand how each person’s style relates to the others and how to best utilize each team member in the business.  It can also be used to identify any areas of conflict amongst the team members and determine if there are any areas in which the business may be lacking. With this information, the team can learn how to communicate effectively, work well together, and fully utilize each person’s strengths.

Things to consider:

People on the left are more INTROVERTED and METHODICAL, and people on the right are more EXTROVERTED and FASTPACED.  Splitting the wheel in half horizontally, you have people on the top who are TASK-FOCUSED and people on the bottom who are PEOPLE-FOCUSED.

*Circle indicates the natural state and the star indicates the adapted state of each member of PWWC.
